On Wednesday, 22 December 2021, at 7 p.m., we invite you to the MMC KIBLA for the last Literary break-fast of the 2021 season. Our guest will be the writer, translator, photographer, and mentor Nina Medved. The conversation will be moderated by Tonja Jelen.

Nina Medved
 is vowed to the nurturing of words and light. She studied Comparative Literature and French at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. She lives and works in Maribor as well as in the broader region. As the winner of the Urška Festival of Young Literature (2019), she was awarded the publication of her debut poetry collection Sliding World (JSKD, 2020). The collection was nominated for the best debut book of the Slovene Book Fair (2021) and selected for the Pranger Festival program. An audiobook of the same name, featuring the artist's interpretation of the poems, has just been published. Her poetry is also published in literary magazines such as Literatura, Dialogi, Poetikon as well as in other languages such as German, Greek, Czech, English, and French. She works in the wider Slovenian and Central European area. Both live and digitally.
