The literary break-fast is moving online due to the coronavirus situation. You are welcome to join us, this time virtually, on our the YouTube platform on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 7 p.m.

This time the guest will be Nina Dragičević, the author of the poem Ljubav reče greva (Love Says Let's Go), which was published in 2018 by ŠKUC. Nina Dragičević was the first in the history of the Vitez poezije Poetry Award to receive both awards - by the expert jury and by the audience. In the same year, she was awarded a solemn certificate from the University of Ljubljana for outstanding achievements and recognition from the Faculty of Social Sciences. She was also a finalist for the Palma Ars Acustica European Award in 2018, and in 2019 the previously mentioned Ljubav reče greva (Love Says Let's Go) collection was among the five nominees for the Veronica Award for the best poetry collection of the year in Slovenia. The conversation will be moderated by Tonja Jelen.




Nina Dragičević (born 1984) is one of the most comprehensive artists in our country: a writer, composer, and a master of sociology. She is the author of four books: the novel Who Has Other Concerns (2014) and two essay monographs: Famous Unknown (2016) and Among Them is Music (2017), and the poems Love Says Let's Go (2019). Her texts have been translated into English, German, Czech, and Spanish and presented at the Slovenian Book Days, the Live Literature Festival, the Babelsprech International Literary Conference, the National Gallery, the Tomaž Šalamun Poetry Center, Mlade rime (Young  Rhymes), Ignor and abroad. Several times also at World Poetry Day events. She is the co-editor of the literary magazine Idiot and publishes in the magazines Dialogi, Live Encounters, Odzven, etc. The author is a member and collaborator of the Slovene Writers' Association. She has been preparing and leading a series of talks on the DSP Writers' Stage at the Slovenian Book Fair since 2017.
